Job Overview
You will be the main driver of our social media presence and the creator of technical content that reinforces White Cloak’s position as a 10x dev company. You’ll collaborate with the Brand Manager, Demand Generation Specialist, and SEO/Data Analyst to develop compelling narratives for diverse platforms, ensuring our social channels, blog, and promotional materials remain on-brand and technically accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) aligned with the broader marketing goals.
- Create and schedule engaging posts, monitor audience interactions, and grow online communities.
- Technical Content Creation
- Write and edit in-depth articles, case studies, and whitepapers to showcase White Cloak’s expertise.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content for various audiences (potential clients, partners, developers).
- Content Planning & Coordination
- Maintain a content calendar for social media and long-form pieces, ensuring consistent publication timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (developers, designers, project managers) to gather information and insights for accurate, high-quality content.
- Community Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Foster discussions, respond to queries, and represent the brand’s voice in online forums, groups, and communities.
- Identify thought leadership opportunities (e.g., guest blogging, speaking engagements) to amplify White Cloak’s market presence.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Analyze social and content performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Coordinate closely with the SEO & Data Analyst to align on keyword strategies, user behavior insights, and campaign reporting.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with the Brand Manager to ensure consistent branding across social platforms and content.
- Assist the Demand Generation Specialist in creating collateral for events and lead-gen initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, IT, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years managing social media in a B2B or tech environment; technical writing experience a plus.
- Writing & Communication: Excellent writing skills, with an ability to simplify technical concepts and produce compelling narratives.
- Tech Aptitude: Familiarity with software development or IT environments; comfort with learning new technologies quickly.
- Social Media Platforms: Demonstrable success in increasing engagement and followers on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
- Analytics: Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, social media analytics, and/or related tools for performance tracking.
- Project Management: Organized and able to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
- Collaboration: Enjoys working in cross-functional teams, open to feedback, and adaptable to changing priorities.
