Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Manages internal and external development resources
• Collaborates with the various business units to identify & collate user stories and requirements
• Coordinates with the Cloud Engineer & Architect as well as DevOps Lead in ensuring that the business units’ requirements are met with high level of satisfaction
• Coordinates with DevOps to ensure that systems have undergone functional and non-functional testing; and that vulnerabilities have been mitigated prior to production
• Influences and advises the business units on the best use of specific technologies on projects and ideas
• Works with various functional teams in the unit, ITSG and the business to enable proof-of-concepts and implementation projects
• Serves as an advocate and thought leader for the application of technology and innovation for the organization
• Participates in various organizational informational sessions and continuing educations programs as a participant and/or instructor upon request
• Evaluates existing and potential vendors and managed services
• Provides periodic reports and updates to Research & Innovations Head
