The role will be responsible for the following:
- Guide the Scrum Masters in performing their roles.
- Support the Product Owner and Development Team in product delivery.
- Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
- Guide and coach both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
- Guide and coach both the Scrum Team and the Development team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
- Guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame,
- retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka grooming) and managing the product backlog.
- Facilitate cadences and synchronization between Scrum Teams.
- Ensure that organization process and metrics are implemented across scrum teams
- Help with the Agile transformation of the Organization
- Review of Tribe’s Throughput
- Facilitate Tribe quarterly retrospective
- And other tasks assigned related to organizational transformation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Years of Experience: At least 5 years of scrum master experience
- Preferably at least 1-2 years of experience as Agile Coach with exposure to agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
Note:
- Initial engagement: 6 months subject for performance evaluation for renewal
- Work set up: Hybrid (2x to 3x a week onsite in Taguig City)
